How can Osteopathy help?

Half Skeleton Half MusclesOsteopaths aid in treating aches, pains and discomfort, as well as mobility issues, restrictions, and stiffness. From looking at muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, bones, nerves and more, Osteopaths treat many medical conditions, ranging from head to toe – and whilst we’re well known for treating the spine, this is not our only focus!

Osteopathy is safe and suitable for people of all ages and lifestyles; dealing with patients suffering with sporting injuries, work or postural related pains, the changing body throughout pregnancy and back pain.

Osteopaths diagnose as well as treat, and as such we are considered primary health care workers and recognised as one of 14 Allied Health Professionals, by the NHS. Osteopaths are trained to check for signs of serious conditions that are outside of our scope of practice. In these cases, we will discuss with this with you, referring you to your GP or sending you to hospital.Woman With Neck Pain
